One way of how to make computer faster is by closing all these background apps, programs as well as processes in order to speed up your Mac computer. There are two ways of doing this: you can either open the Utilities Icon that is present in the Apps folder or you can simply go to the Spotlight Search and type “ Activity Monitor ” in there.
Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, select All Processes & sort on CPU%, any indications there?
How much free RAM & free Disk space do you have also, click on the Memory & Disk Usage Tabs.
